Loire River Sunset

I spent the day at the Loire River in France and captured this majestic sunset.

In reality, a dear friend shared this lovely scene with our Plein Air group while on her travels. Even though I wasn't there to paint it, I found that saturating the canvas with vivid colors and and captivating details gave me an opportunity to transport myself there. I hope you find a little moment of escape as you gaze on this peaceful scene.
